Agilent’s OpenLab software suite of products cover the lab workflow from the moment the analytical request is made until the data is archived. A San Diego biotech firm reached out to us for IT support in deploying the system architecture to run Agilent OpenLab software. The firms stated goals were to use Agilent software to help maintain the systems necessary to maintain FDA GLP lab requirements.
Agilent OpenLab software requires multiple servers and a dedicated network for lab hardware. We deployed a private cloud using Hyperconverged infustructure using vCenter 7.0 and Starwind HCI vSAN on two Dell PowerEdge R7525 Servers. We were able to provide the San Diego biotech firm a highly available system which could weather server downtime and maintain critical lab operations.
The project completed successfully and Agilent Certified the installation.
